Linda F. Hawkins’ work consists of graphic and web design, watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media and encaustic.
Her watercolors often depict scenes from her travels, particularly the Caribbean. Linda’s mixed media works are more abstract in nature. Her works in both mediums have garnered awards ranging from first place to honorable mention.
Linda is the Caring Arts Program Coordinator for Baptist Health. She also teaches art to children and adults, serving as judge for The Children’s Art Classes school student exhibition for the past 5 years.
Ms. Hawkins is a member of Jacksonville Watercolor Society; Florida Watercolor Society; St. Augustine Art Association; Society of Mixed Media Artists (SoMMA) and served on its board from 2009 until 2014. She is also a member of Jacksonville Coalition for Visual Arts; Jacksonville Artists Guild; Art Guild of Orange Park; National Collage Society; Arts & Health Alliance and Arts for Health Florida.
